Where the food comes from

The vegetables, herbs, eggs and chicken are from Bar Peepal Agro Farm, the family’s own organic farm — grown without chemicals and picked for the kitchen.

Foreign exchange

The Front Desk changes foreign currency into rupees at the day’s rate, under Nepal’s exchange rules: bring your passport and fill in a short form. Up to US$300 or €250 per person.

Lost something during your stay? Dial 9 and Guest Services will check with the right department. If you realise after you have left, call or email us as soon as you can and we will do what we can.

Shuttle, parking & getting to town

Car parking

Three parking areas inside the property. Please lock your vehicle — it is parked at the owner’s risk.

Lakeside shuttle

11:00 am & 5:00 pm

Free, twice a day, to downtown Lakeside: it leaves the resort at 11:00 am and 5:00 pm and comes back from Lakeside at 11:20 am and 5:20 pm. Reserve a seat with Reception — dial 9 — at least an hour before.

Taxis & the airport

The resort is about 1.5 km from Lakeside and about 7 km from Pokhara International Airport. For a taxi or an airport transfer, dial 9 and Reception will arrange it.

Visitors, pets, smoking & damages

Visitors

For everyone’s security, visitors who are not registered guests cannot stay overnight. If someone is joining you at the last minute, they will need to show valid identification and complete the resort’s registration and check-in.

Pets

Pets are not permitted anywhere on the resort premises. Thank you for your understanding.

Smoking & non-smoking

Every room is non-smoking. If you smoke, please do so on your balcony where your room has one, and nowhere else indoors.

Outside food & drink

Food and drink from outside may not be consumed on the resort premises — for the comfort, safety and service standards of all our guests. Thank you for your understanding.

Damages

Please take care of the resort’s property — the furnishings, the linen, the equipment. The cost of any damage caused during a stay is charged to the guest, in line with the resort’s policies.

For a doctor’s appointment, first aid or any medical help, dial 9 at any hour and Guest Services will make the arrangements. The emergency numbers are at the foot of this page.

Emergency exits & assembly points

The floor plan behind your room door shows the emergency exits. If there is an emergency, stay calm, follow the team’s instructions and go to the assembly point — the garden, or the first parking area.
